History
Early historyLunar Chippy Games was started by Michael Gruar in September 2023, after getting tired of his day job (which he still does) as a software engineer at a megacorp. Michael took his education (a dual major in game design and computer science) and early career experience in the mobile games industry to start building games part time.
Iron VillageLunar Chippy's first game Iron Village is a cozy town builder, with trains! The project began in September 2023 in Unity, until the next day Unity announced their infamous per-install pricing changes. At that point development pivoted to using the open source engine Godot instead.
